Level Up 2019 Programme
In 2018, we ran our first Level Up conference. For 2019, we’re Improving Level Up!
As Chris Smith mention in his post, we want all the sessions to be 100% delivered by Redgaters. There are no external speakers, no superstars delivering keynotes and no facilitators from third-party organisations.
The conference itself is around the Future of Product Development at Redgate. We’ve got three key themes that we used for topics:
- Culture — We believe the best way to make software products is by engaging small teams empowered with clear purpose, freedom to act and a drive to learn? How can we shape our work around these principles?
- Build — Redgate has always been about building incredible products. Those products will look different in the future, and we’ll need to change how we build them if we want to stay ahead of the curve.
- Customers — When our customers succeed, so do we. Profits keep the score, but the game is to help customers succeed so they genuinely value what they pay for.
We had over 100 proposals of sessions to Level Up 2019 (!). Narrowing this down to a list of sessions was tough. With a huge number of votes cast, we picked the highest rated sessions to try and create the best possible programme. This was incredibly hard but we’ve ended up with the programme below. We think it offers something for everyone at Redgate with a great set of talks and workshops.
There’s over 40 Redgaters speaking throughout the day (a huge increase from last year) and covering an even wider range of topics than last year.
We’ve aimed to improve in every area. We’ve even got a rather swish looking programme booklet and even a #LevelUp2019 hashtag. Here’s a sneak peek of the conference booklet:
There’s even a super-secret event to allow people (at least those that want to) to relax in the evening. We’ve tentatively titled this “Revel-Up”.
We hope that all of this will combine to build on the success last year and give everyone the chance to share and level-up during the day.
Look out for more posts soon on the Level Up 2019 conference experience.
