Last month Redgate invited Dan North to take us through his Software Faster workshop to show us a different perspective on how to deliver quality while reducing our feedback cycles. The two-day workshop had a fluid format, with Dan selecting patterns that flowed naturally from the conversations we were having.

For the past year, or so, I have been trying out sketchnoting (or visual note taking) and I now apply this technique in most meetings, training courses and workshops I attend.

So, I thought I’d share my notes from this workshop:

Software Faster Day 1 — “Fits in my head”
Software Faster Day 1 — “Short software half-life”
Software Faster Day 2 —”Dreyfus Squared”, “Ginger cake” and “Lighting the forest”
Software Faster Day 2 — “Strangler Vine”, “Trunk-based Development” and “Planning”
