The place chosen by the group module 7 is Yeşiltepe Neighborhood, where the movie Otobüs Yolcuları was set. In the movie the difference between social status and approach to urban renewal in the 1960s Turkey are emphasized with living under different conditions in the same place, Yeşiltepe Neighbourhood.

A mind map was created by determining the advantages and disadvantages of the two different types of dwellings with the inferences made from the film for design solution to disadvantages with sense of empathy.

The main goal is to create atmosphere of empathy with the scene where children fly kite in the movie. The design focuses on the relations in kite, children, bird, wind and dwellers.

The layout of dwellings offers place where is positioned on the roof top and protected from wind to be used as nest for birds and creates open courtyard for children to fly kite safely and more easily with adjusting the position of the houses to manipulate the wind.

With green roof implementations stormwater runoff, energy consumtion and ambient temperature are reduced.
