Are you someone who is always craving to do something new?

If your answer is yes, then my friend, you have one of the traits to become an Entrepreneur.

You know, today 4 out of 10 people either think or have the desire to become an Entrepreneur. While some become successful, others are still trying to find their way in the journey to become successful.

Do you know the biggest reason why they are not able to achieve success? Because they have a passion for something else.

I would like to quote a very beautiful or rather strong dialogue from an all-time hit movie of Aamir Khan, 3 Idiots, “Agar Sachin ki Maa ne usko bola hota ki tu cricket khelna chodke singing kar toh kya woh aaj great cricketer ban pata?” (If mother of Sachin (Tendulkar) has told him to sing instead of playing cricket, would he have been able to become a great cricketer today?)

You see, that’s the reality which most of us don’t try to accept. We think if some people are getting famous just by posting vulgar jokes and videos on the internet then, why can’t we?

But, they are able to because they are following their dreams. They are very good at it and they have been consistent in it for some period of time. They try new things and post videos on different topics quite regularly.

From today, if you start following your dreams with full passion and start working towards it, it’s guaranteed that you will become very famous and achieve all the success in the world.

Now, let’s have a look at some of the traits that you can find in someone with Entrepreneurship quality:

1) Different Point of View:

If you look at the list of successful entrepreneurs, then you will find that they all had different opinions for the problems or situations they faced in their life.

So, if you have a different opinion than others on the problems or situations you face on a daily basis, then you definitely have a trait to become a successful Entrepreneur.

Example: Suppose you own a bicycle that you use only over the weekends. Most of the people will keep that bicycle with them for a longer period of time and if not used much, will sell it to someone else.

But an Entrepreneur would never do it like this. He would rent that cycle to a local grocery shop in the weekdays to earn some extra bucks from it. And he will also use it for personal things in the weekends as usual.

2) Self Motivated:

Normally people get motivated to do or achieve anything when they hear words of wisdom from the mouth of someone very old or experienced. However, entrepreneurs keep themselves motivated always through different mediums.

Example: Exercising is the best way to keep your body and mind fit. When your body and mind are working properly, you can take calculative and efficient decisions in your life. And you need to be efficient in your decision making when you are an entrepreneur. However, people can’t follow a routine of regular exercising because they don’t know the value of it. But, an entrepreneur always keeps himself motivated knowing by the fact that, exercising can help him take good decisions for his business growth.

3) Insecurity:

Look around yourself and try to find out who is secure in his/her life. Nobody, not even the Entrepreneurs. This is one of the traits that forces them to work harder with continuous development in their field. And, this is how they always keep their focus on their goal, without getting tired and thus, achieve success one day.

Example: When you start a blogging website, you are excited to work and put more and more quality content on it, so that you can increase your reader base. However, even after putting lots and lots of effort, you don’t achieve the desired success. Normally people at this point quit and stop posting. But an entrepreneur never stops. He/she keeps trying with articles on different topics and eventually, sees a substantial increase in his/her reader base one day.

4) Hungry to learn new things:

Zeal to learn new things is one of the most important traits required by an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs are willing to take all possible steps in order to learn new things related to growing their business.

Example: Rohan wants to become a world-class public speaker. Definitely, he should be very good at speaking anything in front of a large audience fluently. Also, he should make sense of everything that he is speaking. But, he may not know everything that is required to become a successful public speaker from day one. People, by the way, don’t take any steps to learn techniques to speak in front of the public. But an entrepreneur like Rohan, will always learn new techniques and dare to speak in front of large audiences. He might fumble a few times in the start, but with regular performance, he will master it.

Conclusion:

So, I am sure you would have tried relating above traits with yours. Believe me, everyone has some or the other traits to become an entrepreneur. It’s just the intensity that matters. You will have to find or develop the right intensity in you by reading a lot about it.

And when you start the journey of entrepreneurship, you will love to explore new things . Also, this might make you financially independent one day.

I am not saying you to quit your regular job if you can relate to any trait mentioned above. You will have to take it step-wise, slowly and gradually. Work for your passion along with your regular 9 to 5 job, improve it and get success in that.

Let me know if you found some of the above mentioned traits inside you. Also, tell me the steps that you are taking to improve it and finally achieve success. I would love to hear about the same.

Keep smiling and growing until we meet in the next article.
