Neil Patel and GaryVee are undoubtedly two most-followed marketers in the marketing industry.

Their marketing tips are used by zillions of marketers around the world.

However, if you want to intensify your marketing game then you should try a different approach rather than simply leveraging their tips.

After all, your competitors might also be doing the same, right?

So, what should you do instead?

Why not put the best tips together and creating your own marketing strategy? In this article, I will show you how can you combine GaryVee’s Reverse Pyramid Strategy and Neil Patel’s Advanced Marketing Methods to create a Fusion Content Marketing Strategy.

Didn’t get it?

Here’s a proper Step-By-Step Guide to Do it-

Start with an Idea

Of course, to start with, you’d need a topic to write about. If you’re not much aware of what topics are trending in your niche, you can try tools like BuzzSumo and SEMrush. All you need to do is put the niche like “Content Marketing” or “Social Media Marketing” in BuzzSumo or SEMrush and you’ll find a list of most shared and popular topics revolving around your targeted niche.

Find Out Influencers in the Targeted Niche

Ok, now you’re done with the topic selection part and the next step is to find influencers who can provide valuable quotes for your content. While the biggest influencers might not even reply to you, the micro-influencers have higher chances of providing you with quotes. For this purpose, you can cold pitching them or use social media to send them private messages or tag them in a tweet. Anything that would work.

Get Their Quotes

If you’re thinking of mailing to them, you would first need the email IDs. Here’s an article regarding how to get anyone’s email ID in less than 5 minutes. Once you’ve got the email, write a compelling pitch asking them for their valuable inputs for your article.

Try to target at least three influencers and collect their quotes. Remember the influencers must be related to the targeted niche otherwise, it won’t be helpful.

Write it Mate!

Once you’re done with the quotes, craft a compelling article. Make sure your article can solve the real problem of your targeted audience. If it doesn’t solve a real problem or isn’t valuable enough to be shared, no tactics would work in the long-run.

Create 20+ Short Content Snippets

For me, content marketing is more fun than content writing and it’s time to do it. Create 20+ plus short content snippets that include quotes from the influencers and the key points of your article. The snippets should be in different formats like tweets, infographics, images, short videos, etc. so that you can cross-promote them on different platforms.

Time to Promote

Now that you’re done with the entire creation part, it’s time to promote it. Promote as much as possible but remember to promote more on the platforms where your targeted audience resides the most. Additionally, you can also ask the influencers to check out the article and if possible promote it to their social media audience. You can also tag them in your social media posts. This will help you to reach their audiences and convert them to your followers as well.

To Wrap-Up-

It’s 2019 and content marketing has proved to be one of the most followed marketing techniques. Small businesses to multinational businesses, the promotion of content in multiple formats have become a must for reaching their targeted audience. However, as the same approach is used by all, it becomes strenuous to stand out. Use this simple fusion content marketing strategy to promote your content as much as possible in 2019. Do it now or else it will also become common in a few days. :p
