Introducing a Decentralized Marketplace powered by Replin, PayPal, and Twitter
The Replin Marketplace showcases items being sold safely on Twitter through PayPal and Replin, with blockchain based identity and reputation provided by Ink Protocol.
Today, the Ink Protocol team is excited to unveil the first version of our decentralized marketplace powered by Replin. The Replin Marketplace pulls in listings from Replin users selling stuff on Twitter and displays it all in a nice, easy to use format. Buyers can now quickly browse through listings from reputable sellers and buy with confidence via Replin and PayPal. There are absolutely no marketplace fees (just regular PayPal fees), and sellers are in full control of their listings, transactions, and reputation.
Each listing links back directly to the seller’s Twitter post, where the buyer can easily see the seller’s Replin reputation and checkout securely using PayPal. All subsequent reviews and feedback are recorded to the Ethereum blockchain via Ink Protocol. As you can see, this is a great way for sellers to sell without fees, but also start taking back control from the huge centralized marketplaces.

Just sign up for Replin and connect your Twitter account. Each time you mention our @OnReplin account in a tweet (always include an image!), we’ll automatically create a Replin Marketplace listing.
Support for Other Platforms
Twitter support is just the beginning! Replin is designed to work anywhere you want to sell, so while we are starting with Twitter (since we have an amazing @OnReplin integration already), we plan to support many other platforms as well.. creating a truly decentralized marketplace with a simple web interface. Replin is already seeing usage on platforms like Instagram, FB Marketplace, and Reddit.
