To be Grammarlied: When you’re unfamiliar with a grammar rule and accept Grammarly’s suggestion and wind up with an error as a result.

You think you’ll be error-free because you use tools like Hemmingway or Grammarly, eh? Well, I’ve got news for you, my friends, if you don’t know your grammar better than Grammarly, you’ll wind up making more errors.

Because Grammarly is not perfect. Neither are we, but we can be better than Grammarly!

The Proofreading Part

First off, proofread not once, but at least twice, and not in a row.

Longer stories, I always proof 3 times. I get sometimes we want to go faster. But see, sometimes, slow is better.

Then I will either proof again before using Grammarly, to ensure the story is as I want it, and/or after. That’s the proofing part.

Dictionaries are important too — Image by libellule789 on Pixabay.

Now Grammar!

Grammarly will miss some errors, like we all do.
