I long for a home, warm and bright

The crackling fire, a comforting song,
In its gentle glow, I truly belong.
The scent of baked goods fills the air
A taste of love, beyond compare
Soft blankets draped on a comfy chair,
Whispers of laughter, love to share
A family gathered, stories to be told,
In this warm embrace, we never grow old
The flickering candles, their soft light,
Dancing shadows through the night.
A refuge from the world’s bitter cold,
In this home, my heart finds its stronghold
So, in my dreams, I continue to roam,
Searching for the place I can truly call home
A haven of love, where my heart can unfurl,
Longing for that warm, inviting world
