This night too

fluttering with silence

after loud noises of grieving mouths

and glasses of liquor clashing

with window panes

behind rich rooms

of ambitious swimmers

falls the same

settles the same

without resistance

in my eyes

just returning from desert storms.

habits don’t die easy. world is not an easy thread. and my atoms recognize only winters of isolation now.
