Why are there so few titles compared to MR? When can I transfer my data from MR to INKR?
Sadly, not everything from MR will be available on INKR Comics at launch because they were all unofficial scanlations. Our team is working with more and more creators and publishers in Japan, Korea, China, and the US to acquire legitimate content. With your support, our library will grow much larger and faster in the upcoming months.
At the moment, we’re not able to transfer your data from MR to INKR Comics yet. Until our comic catalog grows big enough, it’s impossible to transfer data to INKR Comics, where those titles are not available.
What happened to my previous MR Comics Membership subscription?
MR Comics Membership was officially retired on October 15, 2020. Please note that you haven’t been charged for your subscription since April 2020.
In INKR Comics, as a previous subscriber of MR Comics Membership, you’re eligible for a special offer of a 30-day free trial of INKR Extra. You’ll also get a one-time bonus of 80 Coins when you subscribe.
Is there any offer for MR premium users?
While your premium status is not carried over to INKR Comics, you’re eligible for a special offer of a 30-day free trial of INKR Extra. You’ll also get a one-time bonus of 16 Coins when you subscribe.
Why is some content locked with coins even though there’s subscription?
Our intention has always been to make comics affordable and accessible to everyone and to help artists earn a living through their passion.
While working with creators and publishers, we learned that we cannot bring many titles to INKR Comics without coins. This is because artists invest a lot in their work, and they want to be fairly compensated with flexible monetization options, including ads, subscription, and coins.
Even though we give creators and publishers flexibility, we’re working closely with them so that you can enjoy many great titles affordably, and they can be compensated for their work — so that they’ll bring you even more content in the future.
What will happen to the beta? Do I need to remove the beta app?
We recommend using the store version since it’s the most stable and feature-complete.
You can still keep the beta app on your device. However, there will be no new beta updates after October 15. When there are new features to test, we will open an official beta program and notify you.
