To the INKR Comics community,
Hello everyone. It’s been a crazy week since we launched INKR Comics. We’re very excited by all your positivity about the app design, features, and reading experience.
This is just the beginning of the journey ahead as we grow the comic catalog for you.
Today, we’d like to address the elephant in the room—the one big question from readers — what’s our content plan? We’re here to give you an update on our progress and answer with some specifics.
Current catalog
Our mission since day one has been to make comics accessible to everyone. We believe that every “comic” — no matter its origin or popularity— can find a home in INKR Comics. We set out to build a diverse library of all different types of comics, not only manga, but also webtoons, manhua, and western comics. This is why we call the app “INKR Comics”, not “INKR Manga”, actually. 😅
The result is what you see today: a catalog that has something for everyone. Avid manga readers can enjoy instant classics like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Attack on Titan: Before The Fall, Negima!, while others can reignite their love for webtoons, manhua, and western comics with modern blockbusters like Battle Through The Heavens, Apotheosis, Cherry Blossoms After Winter, Monstress, The Wicked and the Divine.
We’re also proud to be the home of many awesome titles from up-and-coming artists like Deck of Fates, My Little Goddess, The Flower and the Nose. We’re thrilled to see these hidden gems are getting discovered by thousands of readers all around the world in INKR Comics.

More mainstream titles
Many readers have asked us whether we’ll have more popular comics soon. The answer is yes — our team is working around the clock, talking to publishers and creators to license more content.
How soon? We wish we could have a definite answer for you. As you know, content licensing is a time-consuming and complicated process.
It used to take weeks or months to license a single title. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, everything has slowed down significantly.
Even after we license new content, we often need to localize it from the original languages into English. We are working with hundreds of professional translators worldwide to get content to you ASAP.
We do all localization in-house with the cloud-based INKR Localize tool, which we’ll share more about in another post.
