Creating value through actual development:

The Inkrypt team has been hard at work day and night on inching towards our goal of a censorship-resistant and self-sustaining network for authentic content. Much of our development has been in stealth mode and we only recently unveiled our first product nLIGHTn at Distributed Conference in San Francisco. The rationale behind remaining mostly under the radar was to conduct market research and have a significant amount of development before we make the case for Inkrypt to the industry and the community at large.

This strategy paid off greatly as now we have completed the core functionality of our censorship-resistant publishing platform, nLIGHTn, with the alpha version coming soon. We have also made substantial headway with regards to our main protocol with the three main pillars (anonymity network, distributed storage, and incentivization overlay) progressing significantly. The anonymous communication network is up and running, the distributed storage architecture is actively being developed, and the incentivization overlay is being designed and fine-tuned according to requirements.

The anxiously anticipated Inkrypt whitepaper will be released next month with the technical paper following closely thereafter.

Shifting gears:

This stealth mission was undertaken to ensure that we can cut through the noise in today’s overly saturated distributed ledger technology market when we go public with our mission. We feel that we have accomplished enough development and validated our vision to the extent that we can now shift gears and make the industry and the community aware of our mission and our unique value proposition.

In the coming days you will see a significant increase in community engagement from our end, with regular community updates, active social media channels, and a plethora of reading resources for the Inkrypt community. We would like you to help us in this endeavor by channeling our outreach efforts through feedback and by sharing your opinions, hopes and suggestions regarding Inkrypt here or on our Facebook, Twitter, Telegram or Instagram.

The other prong of our new strategy is to engage the media industry. Although we have received significant recognition from industry giants, we are now focusing on generating awareness in the media industry globally. Our plan of action is to use our existing network at Harvard and the Boston venture community to connect to the global media industry. We will also leverage our partnership with Po.et and BTC Media to garner interest from small to medium sized media outlets.

Following is a list of our recent and future engagements with the industry and the community.
