What if you could change someone’s mind about something?

Today’s question is:

What if you could change a single person’s mind about a subject or idea? What would the subject be, and who would you pick?

Gosh. Anything I say here would probably get me backlash. The first thing that came to mind was religion. But I don’t want to be a religion basher. If whatever you believe in helps you live a good, decent life, who am I to say anything, as long as you aren’t harming others in the process.

My second thought was about Covid and around vaccination and masking, which I know is a contentious issue for some (many?), and I don’t want to get into any unwinnable arguments/debates on that subject either, because people have their thoughts and beliefs, and trying to change people’s minds on fundamental questions like around belief (either religion or health issues or anything else), is almost kind of a no-win situation and it just gets people hurt/upset/frustrated/angry etc.

So, I guess if I could change someone’s mind, it would be around either of those subjects, but again, who am I to do that? Who am I to say that I’m right and they are wrong? So I’d rather not, really. Can’t we all just live together without forcing people to think one thing or another? (as…
