Today’s question is:

What if you could choose one book, no matter when you first encountered it, for everyone in the world to read? What would it be?

SuperBetter: The Power of Living Gamefully by Jane McGonigal. I read this book quite a few years ago now and it blew my mind. I can actually picture reading it, too.

It’s about learning to live your best life by gamifying it. Making it into a game. Like a video game/board game, in a way, in order to motivate you to achieve your goals and improve your entire life. It was so unique and fascinating and amazing. There’s also a SuperBetter app too…which can also help you gamify your life.

The original subtitle of the book wasn’t ‘the power of living gamefully’. That was in a later version. The original subtitle which I prefer was: A Revolutionary Approach to Getting Stronger, Happier, Braver and More Resilient — Powered by the Science of Games.

I highly recommend this super unique ‘self help’ book to anyone who wants to take steps in a fun and different and inspiring and motivating way to change themselves or their lives — and have fun doing it!
