The moon is a symbol that represents our deeper psyche. Because it is associated with the night time and the witching hour, it parallels the time in which our subconscious fears and concerns often creep up.
In our dreams, many of the fears lodged in the hidden parts of our mind come to the surface. It’s a time that provides us with an opportunity to look at them directly. From the emotions that we feel in the face of a fear in the dreamscape to the nagging issues or people that recurringly haunt us, the moon symbolizes those things to be addressed and healed.
