The Best Book on Love I Have Ever Read
(A masterpiece book on the energy and philosophies needed for healthy relationships)
I try to read this book once a year. We’re even reading it in the book club for an online Tarot course I teach (learn about the course here).
It’s called “The Science of Love” by John Baines and is a phenomenal read. The premise of the book is to teach people how to love properly. We often think that loving relationships just happen. That’s not true.
The first half of the book is straight shadow work. Part 1 breaks down all of the aspects of corrupt love. These are the dysfunctional, unhealed ways we let our egos impact our relationships negatively.
From hysteria to frigidity, to jealousy, to narcissism, and so much more, part one helps us to look at the parts of ourselves that make it hard to love fully.
Apart of our life experiences include traumas and emotional upsets that get stored in our subconscious. When those issues aren’t addressed, they slide into our lives as outbursts and insecurities. That prevents the expansion of our unions.
