Where there are no Mondays, no Fridays, no 9–5, no happy hours, no work-life balance because everything is simply…. what it is… Life.
Manifesting in different forms. Different experiences.
It’s no longer a “boxed” experience, life is no longer lived divided in hours, compartments and sections. Experiences are no longer judged and labelled as “work” or “life”. It’s all a play. Everything is just a flow.
Life is a flow. It’s a game. And we are the playful players.
Carlos Hattix — half Thai, half African American — was one of the 350 people to get laid off from Uber few weeks ago. He has been in the recruitment industry for 20+ years. Worked for notable companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Uber and now life gives him the ultimate opportunity — “timeless” opportunity — to have all the time in the world to figure out what he wants to do next.
Going through the same experience naturally creates a strong connection between two people and as we sat down to have an open conversation without any motive or agenda in mind — we naturally ended up having deep, soulful and genunie conversations and we learned so much from each other’s life journey.
When you are jobless — your biggest currency in life becomes — Time. Time made up of experiences and not hours.
The whole world operates with the currency of “money” — but often times we forget about the biggest currency of life — which is time. Without time, there is no life.
And that’s our highest currency right now — Time.
Time to reflect, time to be fully present, time to figure things out in life, time to spend with loved ones and most importantly — time to create ourselves and our future.
Often times people will say to me “take this TIME to find yourself” and I tell them that it’s rare that we “find ourselves” in life. So we are taking this time TIME to CREATE ourselves and our future.
And what fortunate souls we are to be gifted the highest currency in life and more importantly, we are gifted the opportunity to realize the most important value and the ultimate currency of life — Time — time expressed in experiences and not hours — which is what life is all about—made up of experiences, experienced in this physical world through time and space.
