Let us change the culture of our field

The first day in SAID Business School in Oxford University is amazing. Lessons created much inspiration and teachers are experienced in facilitating us to think more. Thanks for the first day! I feel so lucky to be one of the InnoPower Social Worker Fellows.

The definition of what “social innovation” is impresses me. Social Innovation is something that to make the world better. One individual can be the starting point, who brings change to the society as a goal

As we, social workers in Hong Kong, are always limited with our creativity due with to the funding specification by the government, seldom of us would think we can “change the society”, let alone think of making the world better.

But WHY CAN’T WE BE THE CHANGE MAKER!

Maybe, it is time to think big, do with small action and bring our thought come true! By doing this, we can empower our colleagues and make them join our dream and journey!

We have the ability to demonstrate some innovative ideas and show its power to the public. I believe that the government would follow us.

That is the CHANGE MARKER!
