Nutrimedy Acquired by FemTec Health

When we first met Karolina and Jonah a little over 3 years ago, it was clear they were tackling a very important problem — how to ensure the proper delivery of clinical nutrition to patients suffering from multiple chronic conditions. In an in-patient setting, patients typically receive guidance from a trained specialist charged with overseeing their diet and nutrition. In an outpatient setting, however, patients are lucky if they have just one session with a clinical nutritionist, with little expectation for follow-up. Karolina and Jonah weren’t happy with the status quo. At its core, Nutrimedy sought to bridge this gap by building a tech/AI platform as well as a network of registered dieticians and nutritionists to provide on-going counseling and monitoring to MCC patients.

Since then, they have made tremendous progress in building out the platform and the dietician network, building expertise across several disease conditions, serving a number of provider and pharma clients, and substantially improving the daily lives of patients.
