How to drive more blog traffic with User Generated Content
by William Harris
The most popular way to use user-generated-content is in product descriptions. Incorporating comments, reviews, or photos from actual customers can help visitors make a decision about whether the product is for them.
Knowing that your product comes with three widgets is great, but seeing how it looks in action and how other customers are using it is much more relevant. It’s also much more likely to make them buy — and buy often!
In short, user generated content is great for increasing conversions — but you can also use it to get better results from your content strategy.
Curious about how you can increase conversions? Read how you can use user generated content (UGC) to drive blog traffic.
The Ultimate GIF Guide for Social Media Marketers
by Evan LePage
A ferris wheel. An Olympic athlete. Your content. Some things are just better in motion. Words and photos are great for telling stories but it’s sometimes difficult to find exactly the right ones to convey your message. On the other hand, video requires a certain kind of commitment from both the content creator and the audience. Enter: the GIF.
The GIF is able to convey emotion and information in a quick and entertaining way that many other mediums can’t. But using GIFs can be somewhat of an art. Nailing the perfect tone, image, and timing of a GIF can be a tricky process, where a misstep could affect your brand’s reputation.
To ensure you make the most of GIFs in your social media strategy, read following GIF guide.
How to create a content marketing strategy for any company
by Nick Lucs
Content marketing is a big buzzword — you can find it splattered across industry blogs and even in the Harvard Business Review. Despite its increasing importance in the minds of marketers, content intimidates non-experts by eschewing traditional marketing strategies in favor of building brand publications.
Here’s the good news: the same awesome approach that supports businesses like American Express, Intuit, and Birchbox can work for companies of any size or shape. By connecting with audiences in authentic ways, a strong content strategy builds long-term relationships that bolster brand awareness and sales.
No matter your business, you can get started in creating content marketing strategy by reading this article.

Best practices for blog publishing in 2017
by Sujan Patel
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge advocate for content marketing. I write a lot, and I publish in a lot of different places — all of which have been critical to the growth of my businesses over the last few years.
But even though I’m pretty active as a content creator, I still love to check in with others in the space to see how their experiences compare with my own. That’s why I was so happy to be a part of Quuu’s recent #Qchat on “Where and how to publish your blog.” I’ve put together some of the best answers below, organized by the questions asked in our chat.

What You Need to Know About Managing Remote Teams
by John Rampton
Did you know that around “20–25% of the workforce teleworks at some frequency?” Even more interesting, “80% to 90% of the U.S. workforce says they would like to telework at least part time.”
Over the past 10 years I’ve either worked from home part time or full time. This also includes my team as well. Between technological advances and the rise of freelancing, remote working has become widely accepted by companies and preferred by many employees. The biggest problem with this is managing these remote team members can become a hassle.
Before you consider hiring a remote, read this article and take a look at the pros and cons of remote teams that I’ve discovered over the years and how you can manage your team (or yourself) more efficiently.
That’s all for this week!
