InnovaBuzz Newsletter 04 March 2020

Welcome to your weekly InnovaBuzz Newsletter — a roundup of what’s new and noteworthy in Marketing, Podcasting and Innovation, what’s been happening on the InnovaBuzz Podcast and more.

Jason Soultan, NO/BS Conference

In this episode, our guest is Jason Soultan, Co-Founder and Design Director at digital agency Soul and Wolf and also Founder and Director of the NO/BS Conference. Jason’s agency has been operating for 14 years and is focused on doing great work for great people. They are all about people and relationships. And the best relationships they have are built on close collaboration.

Jason started the NO / BS Conference in response to frustration that most of the conferences and events he attended in the digital space lacked real-world content and focused largely on tactics, techniques, and technology. The NO / BS Conference is designed as a place where like-minded people can get together, listen to some amazing stories and cut through all the… BS. The inaugural conference will be in Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on March 11 and 12, 2020, so check out the links later in the episode to find out more and register. In fact, we’ve fast-tracked the publication of this episode to help Jason with the promotion of this event.

In our discussion, Jason talked to us about:

  • Why doing good work must be focused on the user experience — the customer’s customer
  • How he has built both his people network and idea bank from traveling extensively
  • Why he setup the NO/BS Conference, how he did what needed to be done and worked through the challenges

In our discussion, Prerna talked to us about:
