Lets begin with one of the last strategic updates.

TOKEN ECONOMICS

Let’s start from the beginning, answering the most important question about exchanges and the upcoming ICO.

Let me be completely honest — until the market gets back on track, organizing an ICO really doesn’t have a huge chance for a success. One of the reasons is that a lot of investors were putting money into cryptocurrencies and haven’t made a profit yet and are still under water. It means that the assets they have invested in, have less value now than at the moment they invested in them.

So in many cases it means that a large group of investors are not going to invest more money into the market until they earn some money back from their previous investment opportunities, ICOs and alt-coins.

In order to see a big movement in cryptocurrency sales, we will need to see the market come back again.

From our perspective, this could happen by the end of this year.

Everybody is expecting that around October might be great for cryptocurrencies. We are expecting money to start flowing into the market, as there are a lot of rumors and analysis to that effect.

WE ARE GETTING READY FOR A BLAST!

We are now getting ready with our technology, with our new website, with big financial backers, with recruiting new team members, with architectural designs and prototypes.

We are getting strategic investors, and marketing materials.

We will be ready with all of these things for when the market turns around. We will not only have the community and team together, but also the finances that will allow us to scale up all aspects including legal, and building prototypes.

This is our plan. We expect we will be able to run with our public sale in Q4 of this year.

We also are planning to enter the exchanges by the end of this year, while generating seriously great news around our project after having done our public sale. One of the steps we are taking right now is that we are not only talking with exchanges, but we have also started recruiting people that will be able to get us onto the exchanges quickly, and seamlessly with those exchanges that we are already in communication with.

CHANGES

There are a few things about our token economics that we want to update you on. This is a change to how we will divide the tokens between investors, contributors, the project, and team members.

60/40 before — 30/70 now.

Before, we were going to split the tokens between us and investors 60/40 — where we would include a big chunk of tokens for the community, for affiliates, and partnerships.

There were some pretty significant numbers.
We were thinking that this strategy would get us far.

ONLY WISE AIRDROP!

In previous months of the ICO market a strategy called “AIRDROP” would work great, until there were a lot of people who started to make a full time business out of exploiting airdrops.

They created bots and hundreds of fake accounts to apply for the tokens they could get, and then dump them into the market.

This is why the strategy which was working previously in the ICO market, was clearly no longer working.

When we found out what was going on, we decided to start doing KYC for every single member who wanted to participate in the Airdrop. This eliminated the ability for any fake account to participate. Only those that had a valid ID and had passed KYC would be able to participate in the Airdrop.

70/30

We also decided to scale down the amount of tokens that we had planned to distribute to the community. We changed the split to 70/30, with 70% going to contributors and investors, and 30% staying with us for the partnerships we are pursuing.

You can clearly see what we have planned (above), what we have changed, and the exact percentage numbers.

We are very happy with this change.

We believe that when the tokens are in the hands of our actual investors, it will hold a much higher value for them. They won’t just be dumped at the earliest opportunity.

Our contributors have a much greater appreciation of the tokens, than if they were used for some marketing action.

This is great news for us, as we have additional funds for potential technology exploration. Some of the systems that Adam Shroder (our new innovation hotelarity member) mentioned in a previous article, (find link here about the water saving systems, etc.) that hotels don’t currently use. So we are very happy that not only more tokens will get into the hands of investors, but also that our hard cap has increased while still keeping the same amount of tokens, and a similar price per token. There is more money for the project that can be used to develop these very cool technologies. These technologies have the potential to disrupt the hotel industry.

NO AFFILIATE SYSTEM

Another additional change that we have made is that we stopped having the affiliate system available for everyone. When we launched, we of course wanted to have a great affiliate system, and we put a lot of energy into that affiliate system campaign. This was so that people would be able to promote our project, and contribute by promoting us. We put together a budget for 5% of the tokens for the affiliate system. However, the effect that we hadn’t expected was a lot of people that have a less than ideal reputation for promoting ICOs. They were pasting our links everywhere, which did not raise us any money, nor did it make us look like a high quality product campaign. Because of these people joining, and not respecting the links, or where they were pasting them, it was like throwing pasta against a wall and hoping that something would stick. This definitely wasn’t something that we were expecting, and it’s not anything we want to see in the future.

This is why we decided to turn off public access to the affiliate campaign, and only open access to those that would apply to the process. Those that really want to promote us, and want us to have great success. We want people that have a good network, who are legitimate, and who really believe in the project. We wish to avoid the situation where everyone is just joining to be there.

SYNDICATES WELCOMED IN A SPECIAL WAY

Instead of reactivating our affiliate system, we will be activating a syndicate program. It is still a commission based promotion that will be available, however, in a different way. The Syndicate program allows people that have connections to join and create a group inside of our system on the dashboard. Not only can we negotiate special deals here, but we can also setup custom solutions and groups.

This means that the leader of the syndicate, can invite their group, their friends, and their business partners to this group. We then have the supporters, and they are able to get the commission for promoting. This is happening with a new approach, a new vibe, and with the quality of having an actual relationship with these people. These relationships are handled by John Doyle (COO), and also by Big Dano (SCO) as you in the community may have seen. In this way, relationships can be built in valuable ways for both parties.

If there is a bigger deal, we are of course open to negotiating that deal. We have seen how our friends from different ICO projects have been able to put together these syndicates and go on to raise millions of dollars for the ICO. We love this, and are open to this as well.

This article is to give you a better understanding of the processes that we are undergoing, as they are happening. It gives you an idea of what it takes to get a hotel done in this new kind of way.

SECURITY TOKENS

After many conversations with Brock Pierce and leaders from around the world, I think security tokens are the future for the really large, high end, legitimate, top notch investments. Which, at the end of the day, we HAVE TO BE if we want to accomplish the goals that we have for ourselves!

HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD

We are starting to explore the opportunities and the information that is required to have a security token be properly structured. Being able to accept investors world wide. Including America.

SUMMING UP

The pre-campaigns that we went through have definitely helped us learn about the market, about how to run a campaign like this, and how to build our community. It taught us the difference between real users, and fake. The difference between the users that are really valuable , and those that only pretend to be. We have made a lot of connections, and have gained a lot of support from important people worldwide. We are getting ready for the big times that are coming. When the time comes, we will be out there with a community and a presence, and we will be ready. This is what will allow this beautiful project to happen.

I also plan to give you one more update soon, about the progress I have made on our hotel development and strategy. Over the next few weeks we are also going to organise more webinars with our experts like Adam. They will also be able to answer technical questions, architectural design questions, engineering questions, land questions and legal questions. As we are moving forward and figuring out every single question and answers for them with these experts. It is just the beginning of this project, and it is an amazing journey with amazing people all around us. We are really looking forward to being an extraordinary, innovative, oasis worldwide.
