The end of 2016 is fast approaching, and we’re already busy planning some great new initiatives for 2017. We’ve had a dedicated group of volunteers who have propelled our programs forward this year, so we’re especially pleased to be able to add to their efforts with some extra help in the coming year. We’re looking for two driven and well-rounded individuals to join us in 2017 as we continue to strengthen Pasadena’s innovation community through education and resource exchange.

Do you have what it takes to help make the Innovate Pasadena team even stronger? We’re hiring an Operations Manager and a Community Manager to not only keep us running smoothly, but help move us forward. If you’re as passionate about the Pasadena community as we or — or if you know someone who is — read on!

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will report to the Officers of the Board. You will be directly responsible for daily operational needs, implementation of organizational policies and practices, event production, and providing support to the Board of Directors. We’re looking for someone who can take direction and run with it, while having an eye for the smallest details. Our perfect Operations Manager is highly organized and a stellar communicator. You must be comfortable juggling multiple projects at the same time.

Community Manager

As the Community Manager, you will report to the Officers of the Board. You will be directly responsible for community engagement, implementation of marketing strategies, and assisting in development efforts. We’re looking for someone who can take direction and run with it, while having an eye for the smallest details. Our perfect Community Manager has a good understanding of the SoCal tech community and should be equally at home interacting directly with the community and our sponsors as they are behind the scenes creating performance reports to support strategic recommendations. You must be comfortable bootstrapping smaller programs and juggling multiple projects at the same time.
