Innovation Inspiration — #12
Tracking Innovation in Education
What are your go-to sources for up-to-date information regarding innovation in education? Check out my shortlist below!
Managing and Tracking News Sources
There’s is a lot of great information out there. How do you manage it all?
I’m inspired by reading about schools and initiatives around the globe. I use a variety of methods to find and save content… I bookmark Tweets, save links to Diigo and Wakelet, and I have customized Google News which I typically check daily.
Most importantly, I subscribe to blogs and other websites in Feedly. Feedly is a newsreader that allows me to browse content from my subscriptions relatively quickly on my phone, iPad, or on the web. All my feeds are searchable, I can add links to boards, and share them on social media as well. A new useful feature is the ability to subscribe to newsletters (like this one!) via a specially generated email address.
Feedly is an incredibly powerful tool! Because it is so valuable to my work, I have invested in a pro version, but there is a free one that’s worth trying out.
