Being a Digital Nomad in the Americas for a Year — Digital Nomad Series Part 1
Before the pandemic, there has already been a big movement toward remote work, however, Covid made it an option for many millions of people. I was one of them. This is the first part in which I introduce you to my digital nomad lifestyle
Writing this series of being a digital nomad, I think it is best if I start with my own story and experiences shortly and then, dive into various aspects of being the extranjero (foreigner) in town, which is exciting and joyful most of the time.
My Short Story of Being a Digital Nomad
My own story was about moving around in the US for a year in the first year of Covid and I traveled around South America for 7 months, which I always wanted to do.
Since everywhere was shut down and there was no social way to approach life, my relative solution to enrich my life was traveling slowly.
I moved from Miami to LA for 4 months in late 2020, then to San Francisco for another 4 months, and finally, I moved to Austin and lived there for 6 months.
