When we look back at 2023, we will definitely see a game-changing year of explosive growth for AI. ChatGPT is just the beginning of serving as what Model S did for the automotive industry, a dramatic accelerator. Google will step in as soon as Q1 2023 with its own chatbot and it will be free.
Interestingly, Elon Musk is the co-founder of OpenAI, however, we haven’t heard from him about the progress made and what we can expect. Instead, Sam Altman, the Silicon Valley veteran seems to be the captain of AI now.
It’s exciting times for AI since Microsoft has the chance to compete with Google in search, investing $10 billion for the first time in 25 years and interestingly, Bill Gates is also investing $10 billion back to Microsoft. Can we say that what Microsoft is investing in ChatGPT is Bill Gates’ investment into MS? We know that Bill Gates’ biggest regret was not investing in Android when he had the chance. This could be his comeback to actively investing in tomorrow’s technology to beat Google in its own game.
It is the best time to get really interested in AI and learn all you can if you are looking for a career or launching your own hi-tech startup since we are in the infancy of the AI revolution.
