Introduction to the Innovation Project

The Innovation project is funded by the BEIS (The Department for
Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy) in order to learn about improving access to remote advice.

Our bid highlighted the difficulties that those with various disabilities have accessing our services and included solutions such as improved quick-link video conferencing software, WhatsApp and having equipment with partner organisations in the community.

For this project we will be grouped with other local Citizens Advice services who are either addressing similar inequalities or using similar techniques and reporting regularly on barriers and progress.

This blog will try to keep you up to date with both the big and small developments of the project on a weekly basis

It is an exciting new project that will help shape the future of advice for the whole of the Citizens Advice organisation.
