Introducing Goal Suggestions in Present Levels Wizard

The NEW Aligned Goals Feature

We are excited to announce a new feature in Toolkit: Aligned Goals in Present Levels Wizard. This new feature is designed to assist special education teachers by suggesting goals that are perfectly aligned with the needs identified in present levels statements.

What is the Aligned Goals Feature?

The Aligned Goals feature is integrated with the Present Levels Wizard. When you generate present levels statements using the wizard, you can now click on the “Aligned Goals” tab to access a list of IEP goals tailored to your student’s specific strengths and needs. The feature is meant to streamline the IEP writing process, making it more efficient and personalized.

How Does it Work?

1. Generate Present Levels Statements: Use the Present Levels Wizard to create detailed present levels statements that reflect your student’s current abilities, strengths, and areas of need.
2. Access Suggested Goals: Once your present levels statements are generated, click on the third “Aligned Goals” tab on the statement screen. Here you’ll find goals that you can edit and copy or save for future use.
3. Personalized Goal Suggestions: This feature uses a custom AI implementation that searches our comprehensive set of goals created by our team of special educators and former special educators. It suggests goals that are specifically aligned with the identified strengths and needs of the student.
4. Baseline Assessments: You can also access baseline assessments from the statement page. Just click on the second “Aligned Assessments” tab.

Getting Started

To start using the Custom AI-Driven IEP Goal Suggestions, simply log in to your Toolkit account and navigate to the Present Levels Wizard. Generate your present levels statements as usual, then explore the “Aligned Goals” tab to see the recommendations.
