Advanced Math Pages, Updated Standard Pages, and Culturally Relevant Reading Passages in Goalbook Pathways

One of the things that we hold to be true at Goalbook is student difference is the fundamental source of complexity in the school system. Addressing that complexity does not call for individual solutions based on every variance but rather universal solutions that address a breadth of diverse challenges.

The universally designed content in Goalbook Pathways allows teachers to address myriad differences that they may be totally unaware of and couldn’t have predicted. Our content designers do this by zeroing in on how we can create avenues of access to the core of the standard rather than simply focusing on activities.

Backwards planning, for us, means we must completely unpack standards in order to create resources and assessments that help all students master those standards from wherever their starting point is.

Below, you’ll find all of the content and feature updates in Goalbook Pathways for the month of September. Our goal is to help you implement universal design strategies in your diverse classroom. We’ve added new advanced high school math content, added more standard objective pages by, and published more culturally relevant printable reading passages.

Advanced HS Math Standard Pages

We’re excited to announce that 100% of advanced math standards are now published in Pathways. They all have the unpacked standards feature at the top of the page which is critically important for teachers designing instruction for advanced math courses. Math and Reading Standard Objective Pages

Planning daily lesson plans with clear objectives couldn’t be easier with new standard pages that organize content by objectives. Additionally, the unpacked standard is now at the top of every page. Check out some of the newly released pages below.
