Student difference in classrooms is the single greatest challenge that teachers face but it is also the single greatest asset that teachers have in their classroom. At Goabook, we believe that if you design a solution for the student with the biggest “difference” in your classroom, it is likely that the solution has the potential to benefit many other students in your class.

An analogy we like to use in the Goalbook design lab is “the ramp.” The ramp in architecture is a universal solution that hasn’t been tampered with for thousands of years because it works well for every type of mobility reality. It isn’t just great for people who use wheelchairs it works for young children just learning to walk, as well as the elderly, it also works well for animals!

Our goal is to design every piece of content in Goalbook Toolkit with the spirit of the ramp in mind. We constantly ask ourselves How can this content give access to the standards to those who need it most as well as everyone else?

Below, you’ll find the updated Toolkit content and features for September. These updates will help you address the complexity of your student caseload or classroom. We are continuing to improve the Present Levels Wizard, check it out!
