Hello, from the other side.

Since covid-19, so many thing has changed. Most for the worse but .. some for the better. We started to see what we called “telemedicine” being used in our practice. It sure is not going to replace patient visit but it definitely helps a lot.

I personally think that we can put it in to good use, even when the covid has gone. It helps reduce patients burden to come to the hospital. I would like to design a class for telemedication. My class would start with the importance of having telemedication, how important it is and how it is going to help the patients. Then let them play with various internet telemedicine platform to learn to choose the one that is user friendly.They can also play with different kinds of instrument for tele-self physical exam and the pictures of the exam can be sent to the doctors via the internet. They can learn what to look for in the ideal instruments and maybe developing one themselves. One very important thing that needs to be emphasise is how we are going to keep a good doctor-patient relationship, eventhough we’re actually “from the other side”. That would be another challenge that we have to face.
