Startup World Cup is World’s largest startup competition where finalist startups pitch for $1M investment prize at the Grand Finale in Silicon Valley, USA. Startup World Cup Pakistan 2022 National Final was organized on 18th August 2022 at Air University Islamabad. Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, shared his vision of transforming Air University into a leading Entrepreneurial University of Pakistan contributing towards building an Innovation Economy in Pakistan. Imran Jattala, CEO, Innovators Garage (IG) thanked Air University management and shared his vision of building $500 Billion Innovation Economy in Pakistan by 2030. Startup World Cup is part of the innovative entrepreneurial initiatives being launched under $500 Billion Innovation Economy vision.
Innovators Garage (IG) in partnership with Pakistan National Investor Portal (PNIP) and Air University Islamabad organized a nationwide outreach campaign for Startup World Cup Pakistan. Out of 200+ Startup applications, 12 shortlisted startups pitched for Ticket to Silicon Valley Global Finale of Startup World Cup. Startup World Cup Pakistan 2022 was judged by an esteemed jury of Local and International Judges and Startup Orbit-Ed was declared National Winner.

Startup World Cup Pakistan 2022 was held along with Global Innovation Ecosystem Summit #GIES22. Global Innovation Ecosystem Summit #GIES22 that brought about an extravaganza of Innovation Thought Leaders (Entrepreneurs, Investors, Corporates, Universities and Government) from leading organizations in Pakistan to discourse on innovative strategies to build a vibrant Innovation Economy in Pakistan.
