in perfect alignment

Sometimes there are moments of pure happiness. They land, for no good reason. You’re just sitting there, minding your own business and wham, out of the blue, comes this overwhelming feeling of bliss, contentment, alignment. Ironically, grief comes in a similar but polar opposite manner. They both sneak up on you and fill your consciousness.

A Sunday morning, toast and coffee. Watching About Time with the new Hugh Grant, Domhnall Gleeson. Nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary, a fairly typical weekend activity.

And this sense that all is right in the world, everything is just perfect.
