The mini-game which seemingly involves qualities from both Capture the Flag and Money Wars, and has quickly become a player favorite: Tower Wars.

In a match between Team Solar and Team Proton, players have twenty minutes to gather resources, fight, and capture as many flags as possible.

The team with the most flags at the end of the game are deemed the champions!

How to Play

Upon joining a match, players will find themselves located inside of their team’s spawn point. A team’s spawn point is where players of that group are the safest since it is protected. In the spawn, there are generators (yes like money wars!).

Collect materials and sell them for gear!

When you grab your gear you can then build your way over to the enemy teams base and attempt to capture their flag.

Players are also recommended to help defend their own team’s territory by fighting off opponents.

Flags are located inside of teams’ spawn buildings towards the sides. Note that you cannot get to the flags’ areas without going through the side entrances of each building since the main entrances are protected.

When a player approaches an enemy flag, they need to interact with it in order to officially pick it up. Then, you have to rush back to your base spawn to officially, capture the flag!.. One capture = 1 point

The team with the most captures at the end of the game will be deemed the winners.

P.S. It is important to note that when you join Tower Wars from the Hub, you may end up joining an ongoing match; this is purposeful. Tower Wars matches run around the clock, allowing for more playing and less waiting in pre-game lobbies.

Tips

  • We won’t tell you how, but use ender pearls; you might find them to be very helpful
  • Hotbar management is very important in any PvP-based mini-game. You always want to make sure that your most important items can be accessed quickly and easily. (Our friend VirtualNK recommends the following: sword in slot #1, bow in slot #2, blocks in slot #3, and food in slot #4.)
  • Iron is the most required/used mineral, so focus more on obtaining that over the others (i.e. gold and diamond)
  • Matches are twenty minutes long, therefore do not feel rushed to prep as fast as possible. Take your time gearing up so that you can spend more time fighting afterwards (and less time doing so later because you are potentially continuously killed)
