London — Leicester City won the prestigious FA Cup 1–0 against Chelsea on Saturday. In its 137 year club history this is the first FA Cup won by the club after four unsuccessful attempts in the past. The most recent FA Cup final they lost (1–0) is the match they played against current champion club, Manchester City is 1969.

It has taken the club approximately 52 years to get another go for the cup and they made sure not to let it slip away. Youri Tielemans' shot from 30 yards sealed the victory for the club. The belgian midfielder was also named as the Man of the Match.

5 years ago, Leicester City won their first ever Premier League title with the odds of 1/5000 under the management of the Italian, Claudio Ranieri. And now their first ever FA Cup.

Six players at the Leicester City Camp, is in the verge of being privileged by being a part of both historical moments of the club.

Wes Morgan

Title winning captain in 2016. Made his first appearance at the finals for 8 minutes in the final against Chelsea. Wes was also involved in the controversial offside goal scored by the former Leicester player Ben Chilwell in the 90th Minute.

Marc Albrighton

The English midfielder starred in 5 of the FA Cup ties this year and scored a goal in one of them.

Kasper Schmeichel

Current captain of the team. Kasper made some world-class saves in the final.

Jamie Vardy

The star striker remained goalless in all of his four appearance this season.

Daniel Amartey

The Ghanian Midfielder was seen twice on the pitch during the FA Cup and has a chance of being a recipient of the medal.

Christian Fuchs

35 year old, Austrian defender is in his final stages of football. Made one appearance for the club at the FA Cup.

Various sources claims that the club will be awarded 30 medals for players and staff, and the decision about who should receive them relies upon the club. Nevertheless these six players have the opportunity of being placed in history as the first ever to win both titles with Leicester City in its prolonged history.

Former Leicester City players Kante and Ben Chilwell were also seen on the pitch, playing for the opposition. Ben Chilwell being a Leicester City player in the 2016 season wasn’t awarded the winners medal as he didn’t play five or more matches for the club.
