Amazon keeps expanding into in the physical world. The retail giant intends to open over 2000 “Amazon Go” grocery stores in the US in the next decade. Snap Inc.’s job listings increasingly feature 3D experts and augmented reality specialist. Snapchat slowly shifts from being a social network to an augmented reality company. Before that, Facebook and Twitter have become new medias, Messenger, Slack and WeChat have become service providers. Internet radio Pandora announced that it’ll launch a Spotify competitor in the beginning of 2017. Many wonder how it intends to gain marketshare when Spotify has grown to 40 million paying users and Apple Music just reached 20M.
