We’re excited to introduce a new type of user that allows you to invite members that are not using the platform’s functionality, however willing to access the platform. This will be completely free of charge.

Like any other company that wishes to become Teal, transparency is a main concern. From today, you can now invite all your colleagues to browse your organization and consult all your roles and projects with our latest new type of user: the “inactive user”.

In your Members section, you can now choose if you add a regular or an inactive member. Once you’ve inserted their email address, they will be invited and have a personal access to the organization.

Inactive members can be assigned to roles but they are limited users. They cannot join a meeting, be assigned to projects or actions. They are considered as “Read-Only” users. It’s always possible to upgrade an inactive member to a regular member but the opposite is not possible. Moreover, inactive members are free of charge. You will find all the details in our knowledge base.

This feature answers two different situations:

1- You’re using Holacracy or another Self-Organization method in part of your organization and you want to promote your initiative to your colleagues outside your main Circle (GCC or Anchor Circle if you’re running Holacracy). You can now invite them to see how your new way of working looks like.

2- You’re using Holacracy or another Self-Organization method and you’d like to have all your staff in holaSpirit, even for those who won’t use holaSpirit. It’s now possible!

This feature will help you to succeed at a larger scale!
