Bart de Witte is my guest on Inside Ideas. One of Europe’s leading and most respected experts on the digital transformation of healthcare, he is also one of the most progressive forward thinkers when it comes to finding alternative European strategies for creating desirable futures that are designed to deliver social benefits.

The founder of the HIPPO AI Foundation in Berlin, which aims to make AI in medicine a common good, Bart is on a mission to use technology for the greater good, by harnessing the power of AI to help solve current and future inequalities in healthcare. On the show, we talk more on this and about the moral imperatives of ensuring people have easy access to healthcare treatments, as well as the different ways all citizens can be empowered to thrive in the world.

To support younger generations grappling to get to grips with some of these moral tech questions, Bart is involved in mentoring dozens of digital health startups and lectures at various universities in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and China. He also co-founded the Digital Health Academy, where he shares his knowledge to help increase digital literacy.
