I am thrilled to introduce the ’22 Odds On VC Cohort comprised of 13 student investors, representing five schools in the greater Boston area. Student investors will source, conduct due diligence, and support investments into peer-led companies on behalf of the Odds On fund over the course of the school year. Through unparalleled real investing experience, cross-university peer and professional relationship building, and structured VC 101 curriculum, student investors will leave the program primed to excel in the industry.

We had our most competitive and diverse applicant pool to date, making the selection process both tough and encouraging. As a ‘foot in the door’ program, extraordinary care was taken in both the recruiting and selection process to gather an incredibly diverse group of students. The Odds On VC leadership team is committed to expanding the opportunities in venture capital, a notoriously insular industry, to students of all backgrounds - particularly to those at “non-target” schools (i.e., not Harvard or Stanford, whose alums currently make up over a third of all US VC investors). We aim to disrupt the traditional VC recruiting pipeline by providing opportunities to emerging young investors, sourced and trained at their earliest stages where resumes and prior experience matter much less than ambition, bold thinking, raw talent, personality, and creativity. Our odds are on the thinkers, dreamers, risk takers, wonderers, doers, and try-againers, who are hungry to shape the next gen landscape of entrepreneurship and venture capital.

Check out our website, Instagram, and LinkedIn to stay up to date with the cohort as they hustle to source, diligence, and invest in peer-led startups this school year. If you’re a student-led startup interested in pre-seed funding, reach out to a student investor listed below.

It’s an absolute privilege and pleasure to lead this group of exceptional young talent.
