This is the first time you have created an application? You do not feel very digital native, not comfortable with this brand new digital project? Do not worry, we have designed a Welcome Kit for you, which will guide you through your project.
You will find practical sheets corresponding to each step of your project. We advise you to keep them handy and refer to them as often as necessary. In addition, your project manager will also be at your disposal to advise you and assist you in the realization of your application.
The preparatory phase: the big jump!
The introduction and the first two sheets are to be read before starting the project. We present you the various stages of project management and some good practices. You will have a global vision of the work to be done and you can more easily organize your work for the coming weeks.
We also advise you to take a look at the glossary at the end of the Welcome Kit, which will help you become familiar with the technical vocabulary of applications. By using specific words, you can more easily exchange with your project manager and express your wishes. And, with this new vocabulary, your knowledge will become clearer and you will become more skilled.
Graphic design: a project in the color of your institution.
You have already defined your needs and chosen the features of your application, it is now a matter of thinking about the graphic design, the visual rendering of your application. None of our applications are alike because each of our applications is unique and resembles the cultural site to which it belongs, to be easily recognizable by the public. You can express your desires, indicate the graphic charter of the cultural site, and the artistic director will propose you two graphic tracks to choose from. These models will allow you to project better and refine your desires. One of these sheets presents examples of applications already completed and indicates the elements that can be customized.
Content: adapt to your audience.
It’s up to you to do all the content because you know your cultural site best. But how to adapt existing content to digital format? How to make these contents fun and easy to read? You will find some useful tips on creating content and how to insert it into our back office.
The tests: to be sure of the rendering of his project!
To obtain a quality application, it is very important to test its application. Some errors are noticeable only on the final version of the application, and it is still time to correct them. It can be bugs, misspellings, poorly framed images … It is essential to test both the Android version and the iOS version, because they are two different files and that errors can appear in only one of two versions. And one of the cards will explain you how to do these tests.
Last step: to make known its application
Your application is complete, but it is now necessary to make it known to the greatest number of visitors. This is the last step, but it’s also the most important, because your work will only pay off if the application is downloaded and used daily.
