The past few months have been very busy: two new investments, crazy-good portfolio news, two new team members (say hi to Maxine and Pablo), and the planning of our first big ecosystem event in Berlin, Square Summit. Below you’ll find everything at a glance.

Portfolio News
- We look forward to further supporting Vue Storefront! The team raised $20M led by Felix with the participation of Creandum and Earlybird (also, they grew their revenues by 300%, and hired Tim Drijvers as CTO). Read the news on Techcrunch

- Great news also from 3D printing star xolo! The team raised a strong Series A to further advance its groundbreaking 3D printing technology. Squad Stories
- Welcome to the squad, Pablo! He joined the SquareOne investment team last year after finishing his internship and we’re more than happy that he decided to become a part of SquareOne (despite having several attractive offers on the table). Read the full story on Medium and reach out via LinkedIn.
- And the team is growing even more, welcome to the squad, Maxine! She joins our team as Head of Communications. Coming from the startup industry, she has a background in tech communications, PR and branding and will be in charge of our funds’ communications and brand as well as supporting our portfolio companies. Say hi!
- Europe is currently at the forefront of GreenTech innovation. Charlotte knows all about the latest trends in ClimateTech, and is happy to share her expertise. In mid-March, she discussed the technological and commercial advancements in Long Term Energy Storage at the McKinsey Green Business Building Summit in Berlin. Great stuff!
- Additionally, Brutkasten apparently has found a new GreenTech columnist in Charlotte, who has written two interesting articles (in German) on the topic: learn more about Energy transition in Europe and Trends in GreenTech. And that’s not all, she also spoke with EU-startups on “Going Green”. Go Charly!
