I’m deeply honored and humbled to share some exciting news….

Ambassador has been acquired by West Corporation!

First things first: We are honored to be partnering with such an established organization. West products and services extend to the customers of most of the Fortune 500. West is owned by Apollo Group, the world’s largest — and arguably most successful — private equity fund.

When we originally met with West Corporation we were surprised by a potential fit. Admittedly, it wasn’t a brand we knew much about. After our first meeting, we were struck by their passion, comradery and laser-focus on the customer. Thinking back, it makes sense. West Corporation, and their products and services, are connecting the world’s largest businesses to their customers, millions of times a day.

That being said, we don’t expect sweeping changes, and neither should you. This partnership is a massive and instantaneous way to level up our organization & team. West is providing the expertise, resources & autonomy to help Ambassador continue delivering on our mission to make a dent in the marketing universe by enabling companies to truly leverage the power of word-of-mouth. This allows us to be laser-focused on thinking long term to further dominate this emerging relationship marketing category.

To Our Customers: I want to thank you for your loyalty and support over the years, we know that we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. We hold ourselves to the highest standards, this isn’t going to change. Now, we’ll be more equipped than ever to raise the bar and continue to set the standard across the referral marketing landscape. We look forward to continuing to deliver a truly world-class product along with a Success team that is always customer obsessed.

To Our Investors: We’re truly grateful for your investment, guidance and support over the years. Beginning with the first investment from Jonathon Triest of Ludlow Ventures, who believed in us when nobody else did. In 2011, we earned a spot in Techstars NYC, which was a truly incredible experience and our first major inflection point in the business. I’ll be forever grateful to David Cohen, Brad Feld, Dave Tisch and the numerous mentors and advisors who pushed me further than I thought and helped mold Ambassador Software into the organization it is today.

A special shout out to Patrick Meenan of Arthur Ventures for having the conviction to partner with us in 2015. Pat has been a wonderful investor, director, confidante, strategist and friend. Thank you for unwavering support.

To the Diplomats: Congratulations! What an amazing time for us. As many of you know, we often discuss the historical inflection points in the company history — there is no doubt this is a personal and professional inflection point for all of us! This is the beginning of a new phase in our journey. I am personally so proud of the effort, determination and passion that lives inside each of you. We’ve been successful because we’ve done more with less — we’ve executed with urgency, owned it — all while being guided by our values of OUTCARE. I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunities that lie in front of us. Thank you, as always, for the hard work 🙏

Finally, a shout out to the Lteam. Chase, Zach and Will have done a fantastic job. I’m humbled by the amount of grit they display, every single day. Their commitment & work ethic is truly unmatched — always focused 24/7/365. I’m super excited for them to have more resources at their disposal. Not only have they been great leaders, they have become lifelong friends. Thank you.
