“Are you okay?”

Sabrina wrapped her arm about Carole’s shoulder.

Carole heaved slowly, but nodded.

“I am okay, Gui left me here and I have the room for the rest of the week. He left me some money, but he is on a flight back to Paris…”

“So you are not together anymore?”

Carole shook her head. Her curly blonde hair bobbed, as she looked at Sabrina.

“No.”

Sabrina held her friend, remembering both of them talking about how much they loved Gui and Harry respectively. And how awful she would feel if she was not with Harry anymore.

She almost wanted to tell Harry about everything, about how many times she had reinvented herself. About how she sometimes wanted to reinvent herself again and how she had regressed with Renee.
