Here I have a question for all. Do you people practice self-care? In my opinion, I believe that self-care is not a selfish thing but it is mandatory to take care of yourself. So today, we will discover together why self-care truly matters and how it can change our lives. Being a mother of two kids, it is also difficult for me to take care of myself. I am a woman and from what I observe in society women need more self-care because today women carry many responsibilities, they are doing household work, managing jobs, taking care of children, and handling family matters. While managing all these equations women forget to take care of themselves. Now we will explore the essence of self-care why it is important and why should it matter to you.

In this era where everyone is busy with their life challenges, it is very easy to neglect self-care. We should understand the core importance of self-care and take the essential steps to nurture our emotional, mental, and physical well-being. The way you take care of others by showing love and care, in the same way, shows the same love and care to yourself. Before thinking about others or helping others, you must ensure your well-being. As we always said, if you would not take care of yourself, how would you be able to take care of others?

· Social self-care: Social self-care means maintaining a healthy relationship with others. Spend quality time with those people who can uplift you and respect your emotional space

· Leisure and Recreational self-care: This type of self-care allows you to enjoy life without thinking about others. It will be as simple as watching your favourite Netflix series, taking yourself on a date, or pursuing any other hobby that brings joy to your life.

The benefits of self-care for women

There are numerous benefits of self-care for women, if women take care of themselves it not only affects their lives but also benefits others.

· Boost confidence: Self-care boosts the confidence of women, reminding the women of their value and the importance of self-compassion

· Strong relationships: When women practice self-care they become emotionally strong and healthy and can build stronger and more fulfilling relationships

· Empowered: Women feel empowered when they have a habit of self-care she knows what choices to make to increase their value and needs and build a sense of control over their lives.

· Reduce stress: Practicing emotional self-care can reduce stress and anxiety and make women stronger so they can face life challenges.

· Improve physical health: Giving the importance of physical self-care can ensure the women that they have the stamina to tackle their responsibilities and side by side take care of overall health

How can women practice self-care in their lives?

Practicing self-care in a daily routine can be challenging for women but it’s not impossible. Here we can share some tips on how women practice self-care in their lives.

· Give yourself some “Me” time: women should take out some “Me” time from their busy routine. It would be as simple as a cup of tea, doing yoga, or going on a walk

· Set boundaries: never compromise with our personal space. Set healthy boundaries to protect your emotional well-being and avoid over-commitments

· Connect with other women: Share your self-care journey with other women because one woman can support and understand another, empathizing with their pain and struggles

· Treat yourself with kindness: As women, we always take care of family and friends and forget to take care of ourselves so it is mandatory to treat ourselves with kindness like the way we treat others and celebrate our unique qualities and self-compassion.
