Sigh of Our Gazes (Love Letters)

Whenever you’re in my thoughts, my body and senses tremble so strongly that nights turn into day in a matter of seconds, imagining our gazes meeting.

I don’t want to take you to the moon or bring the universe to your thoughts.

I want my eyes to reflect the purity, instinct, and bravery of your presence because in my eyes, you will always be beautiful and radiant.

It must be spectacular to feel your warmth in the mornings and to receive your strong and unique character when I say something inappropriate because I enjoy the excitement of being natural.

It seems like we are far apart, but it’s an invisible mirage because every time I think about it, we are only a day away.

A different culture and an ocean that delves into a sigh of emotions that I only wish will caress our skins in the blink of an eye.

But I am afraid.

Afraid to not dare to give you this poem, afraid that these words might scare you.

I am happy to confront my fears. I feel very brave in this moment, but the inspiration generated by thinking about our connected destinies gives me strength to face this magical path towards happiness.
