Today I glanced towards the path
That goes to the loving abode
That I always wanted to be in
But then I thought what's the use
If it is the one that is
Never meant to be taken
Where I am never meant to walk in
Then why should I even look there
If it's going to inflict the same pain
That was dripping for years
And still is moist though at times
It again takes me back
Onto the voyage of memories
Thinking, again I glanced at the turn
A gush of wind pulled me in
Suddenly Abruptly
******
And here again,
I am on the same path
Taking narrow steps
Where the
Leaves crinkled
Trees teetered
Fallen were the Jakaranda leaves
And clouds coloured in purple
Listening to the gentle buzz of honeybees
Washed into the sparkling dew drops
With warming sunshine
And I heard the bells of that old shrine
All so familiar
All that I always longed for
I stooped down to touch the soil
Whispered into the wildflowers and yellow gooseberries
Walking the rustic wooden bridge
Arced in an immaculate crescent
Dangling on the rippling little stream
Opening my arms I let all in

The cord of my heart says that
No matter how far the distances may seem
How difficult the happening in dreams
I can never
Never ever
Leave this
Endearing
Gentle
Authentic
Pure
Lovestruck realm
