In the center of an abandoned village, the weather itself seemed to warn it that the ground was dry. That the dreams of people who had lived it a long time ago were just a mere illusion and hopes became just unexisting. Her name was Ushna. Confronted with the uncertainty connected with tragic events and the posture of the difference of society, the play of her life resembled a Greek tragedy without a little whisper of rationality as each act terminated with loss and sorrow.

With the taste of mourning her hardest memory, she knew grief from the age of her first memory. Consecutively, her father's death had her grieving and her mother's absence scared her to a point where a storm of sadness washed everything away. Zara had to stay afloat all alone. Although their interaction started as a flirtationship, in each other they discovered peace and themselves among all the madness around them.

Zara was a very quiet person and her inner strength had never ether (could never erode) hitherto (thanks to) the challenges she had encountered in her life. A victim of early widowhood, she continued with her life, hence her sole daughter Ushna was being guided to respond to life's challenges by having passion and perseverance. Zara's love for Ushna was the speck of light in their lives that shone brighter than anything else, especially during the dark times when the storm seemed to have deprived them of the possibility of happiness.

Along her journey, Ushna's soul expanded, and at the same time, she took upon an increasingly heavy load. The community whose life was teeming with the vitality of poverty and the ashes of fallen buildings was sucked into a spiral of poverty and neglect. Cultivated lands that once were buzzing with life became empty and sun-dried, while dwellings made of mudbricks reveal the impacts of disregard and tranquilizers. Nevertheless, they had no company with their slump and despair, since Ushna and Zara's connection was unbreakable at the end of all odds.

However, Imran's entry into their life proved to be a very trying time for Ushna and Jalil as they had never faced anything so challenging. Indeed, Imran had been a soul tormented by demons that had haunted him from the past and he could not define the place of this world. Although he may have had his deficits, Imran had a streak of warmth that penetrated the hearts of others, a glimpse of freshness Ushna could not but notice even when she complained about him.

Their joining of hearts not only brought them joy but grief too. The early weeks of their married life gave Ushna and Imran the much-needed comfort they longed for, their passion a lighthouse in the storm that they were sailing. In the beginning, clouds seemed to block the rays of the sun in their relationship, but over time, cracks started to develop, uncovering the undercurrents of restlessness that may eventually split them up.

The curve of Imran losing control of his emotions and life was slow, but all the more so his decline into menacing addiction haunted their now perished shelter of love. Ushna ran out of things to say as the man she loved became a stranger to her, a darkness ever consuming. At the same time, however, she suffered from having a past in the past, although she could not meaning in their keeping hope that they would find each other again.

The souvenir was not mere proof of victory but a sign of victory over aging, diseases, and finally death. Imran ended up committing to his addiction more and more, making it impossible for Ushna and Zara to gather all the jagged shards of their lives and put them back together before they became completely useless. But having others taken out of their lives becomes a part of building on what was left of the once peaceful house, as their hopes are just knocked but unbroken.

Through their hardships as well as the uncertainties of their environment, they are also the ones who oppose the injustices that prevail in society. In an era of men wherein women and underdogs were distinctly gagged, Ushna and Zara did not know the meaning of silence. They contended for their rights and pride while fighting to undo the chains that held them back and made them suffer.

But rather than freaking out over the misfortunes and difficulties, they kept up their way, ‘cause of their strong love and perseverance. Each progress until the moment represented a guiding light for those who believed actual transformation is a reality and their perseverance saw the day the human soul is invincible.

In the end, they held tight as they were up against the toppling obstacles and knew their band was only just beginning. However, they were not deterred; the bond of love they shared and the spark of courage they had were the two things they marched with, aiming clearly at the future they were promised.

Ushna was not just a survivor. She was a symbol of strength, a personification of the effectiveness of the human spirit in overcoming the most difficult trips of life. And sometime during her life the battle would be over, though not exactly yet, she will face it with the struggle bigger, the road longer and arduous, while she remains the beacon of hope in a world swollen with darkness.

Their perseverance was not just a tale confined to their village, but a legend that echoed far and wide. It was a remarkable account of how to conquer challenges and blaze a trail toward a brighter tomorrow. As they stood there, the sea breeze gently caressing their faces and the vast expanse of land stretching out before them, they realized that this was only the beginning of their journey. They felt confident, resolute, and ready to take on the world and make their dreams a reality. This was their moment to shine, and they were determined to seize it with all their might. Nothing could stop them now, for they were unstoppable, unwavering, and unbreakable in their pursuit of greatness.
