I took a break from Medium for a while
I suppose you could call this part 2 from this last article. I don’t even know where to begin with this. I know I haven’t posted on here in a long time. At first, I assumed it was a major burnout, and I decided I needed to take some time off to get the juices going again. After doing a bit of thinking, I understand that is no longer the case. There are so many factors that caused me to stop writing, and I don’t remember stating why. There are some that I was able to get out of my head.
I’ve been stuck in survival mode for a long time now. This did not start until 2019 when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. During the time I was taking care of her, my mind went into survival mode, meaning that it was no longer enjoying the day. It was more about figuring out how to get by and make sure that I survive another day to take care of my mom. She is doing better now, and cancer-free. I am working on an article about that, but it’s taking me time to get it finished.
