America’s election on social media

For my first blogpost I decided to write about something rather funny in connection to the election: my all time favorite thing on social media — memes. You can find them all over Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; especially when something “important” happens in the world. (And yes, it seems to be also really important if a socialite called Kim K poses at a photo shooting while balancing a glass of champagne on her behind, but that’s a different story.)

What I actually wanted to show you guys is a selection of memes in relation to America’s “president to-be” Donald Trump.
If you take a look at them you actually don’t even need any further explanations what most of the people on social media think about this whole story.

Well, I think there’s nothing more to add.

Another phenomena that I noticed during the whole election was that a lot of celebrities took sides — Clinton’s.
There’s this video of Robert de Niro where he says that “he would like to punch Trump in the face”.
If you haven’t seen it yet, there you go:

And last but not least, here are some of the most disrespectful Trump-tweets that I could find online, and I would say after all it’s Trump’s own fault if some people want to punch him…

My opinion towards the whole election and its representation on social media? I think it’s extremely weird that the candidates for a PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION are insulting each other, just imagine Angela Merkel would tweet something like that! I think all of this is just extremely embarassing (yet entertaining…:)).
