Congratulations to the Salesforce Incubator Batch #1 Graduates!

Last year, when we announced the opening of the Salesforce Incubator, we wanted to bring promising and innovative startups together to help them supercharge their businesses. This September, the first group of 12 SaaS startups from across North America began their five-month program to build and accelerate their companies — each leveraging Salesforce technologies, industry mentors and a beautiful office in SoMa.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been five months since we welcomed this first batch into the Incubator. We are so proud of all the hard work this group has put into build the next generation of innovative apps, and although we’ll be sad to see them move on from the program, we know they’ll do great things as they graduate into the Salesforce ecosystem.

This first group paid homage to our roots as a SaaS pioneer, as each company in the batch focused on SaaS apps built on top of the Salesforce Platform. Since September, the 12 companies in this group have used the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Salesforce community and culture, networking and collaborating with other startups while also learning the importance of giving back via the Pledge 1% model. We’ve even helped facilitate 370 hours of advisor time with industry experts and VCs.

But what is most exciting to us is the potential of these companies to become the next successful businesses in the Salesforce ecosystem. In fact, during the past five months, they’ve raised almost $8 million in venture capital, acquired 184 business customers and hired more than 50 people on their fast-growing teams!

Here’s a look at more of the highlights from this batch.

We also asked our graduates to give us their best advice for other entrepreneurs looking to turn their great ideas into businesses. See below for their words of wisdom:

This is just the beginning for the Salesforce Incubator. We’ll be announcing the next group of startups shortly, so stay tuned!
